How much time should we plan for?
Feel free to spend as much time exploring and playing at Simek’s Farm as you like. A minimum of 3 hours is recommended.
Field Trip Admission:
Field Trip Admission is $8 per child and chaperon, one free teacher admission per class. Field Trips include the Big Red Barn Interactive Farm Lesson, Hay Ride, Corn Maze, Barnyard, and Play Yard. Please bring a bag lunch. There is a picnic area with limited seating indoors, on the covered porch, or picnic area.
The café at Simek’s Farm will only be available with limited food and drink items. What Should I Wear?
Don’t wear your best Sunday dress! Clothes that are comfortable to run and play in, and clothes you don’t mind getting a little dirty on the farm. Please dress appropriate for the weather. Fall in northern Minnesota can be unpredictable. Shorts, T-shirts, and sunscreen, or snowsuits, hats, and mittens, anything can happen this time of year!
